Allison Macfarlane appointed Director of the UBC School of Public Policy and Global Affairs

Dr. Allison M. Macfarlane will join UBC as the new Director of the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs (SPPGA) in the Faculty of Arts. Dr. Macfarlane will assume the role for a five-year term starting July 1, 2020.

Dr. Macfarlane comes to UBC from the George Washington University, where she is Professor of Science Policy and International Affairs, Director of the Institute for International Science and Technology Policy, and Director of the International Science and Technology Policy Master’s program at the university’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
