Call for Nominations: D2L Innovation Award in Teaching and Learning

November 25, 2019

The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) has opened the nomination process for its D2L Innovation Award in Teaching and Learning. The award celebrates and recognizes up to five post-secondary educators across Canada each year for their innovative approaches to promote student-centred teaching and learning.

Recognizing that UBC has many faculty members who are worthy of this prestigious recognition, interested nominees/nominating parties should consult Dr. Simon Bates, Associate Provost, Teaching and Learning, as early as possible, and no later than January 5, 2020. Simon will offer advice on the process and the nomination package, and will also assist with preparation of the endorsement letter for the Provost & VP Academic’s signature once he has reviewed potential nomination packages. Following sign-off by the Provost, Faculty must submit their application packages directly to STLHE.

The deadline for submission of an application package is Sunday, January 19, 2020. For further details and award criteria, please visit the STLHE website.
