The 2026 University Killam Professor competition is now open for nominations of exceptional faculty members. This distinction recognizes individuals who are extraordinary teachers and researchers, leaders in their academic fields, and recipients of national and international recognition. The title of University Killam Professor is the highest honour the university can confer on a faculty member.
Up to three University Killam Professors may be named in this competition cycle. Nominations should be submitted by the Dean of the nominee’s primary faculty.
The deadline for nominations is September 10, 2026, at 5pm.
