A message from Gail Murphy, Vice-President, Research and Innovation

Faculty members from all disciplines are invited to apply to the UBC Collaborative Research Mobility Awards (UBC CRMA) program. These awards facilitate collaboration on timely research opportunities between UBC researchers in Vancouver and the Okanagan. Competitions will be held four times per year. The submission deadline for the first competition is November 5.

Up to $5,000 is available for each proposal to initiate new or strengthen existing research collaborations. Faculty members eligible to hold research grants can apply. Funding can cover costs involved in travelling to access unique infrastructure or core facilities at each location or to hold research meetings.

UBC CRMA is administered by the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation and has been developed in collaboration with the offices of the President; Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Principal, UBC Okanagan; Vice-Principal, Research and Innovation, UBC Okanagan; the Provost and Vice-President Academic, UBC Vancouver; and the Provost and Vice-President Academic, UBC Okanagan.

Visit the UBC CRMA program page for more information and application details.
