Search for a new Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President, Academic Affairs
A message from Andrew Szeri, Provost and Vice-President, Academic, UBC Vancouver
Dr. Eric Eich will be completing his term as Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President, Academic Affairs at the end of June, 2020.
In accordance with Joint Senate and Board Policy #18: Appointment of Designated Senior Academic Administrators, a search for his successor will be conducted.
I have written to the Registrar, requesting the initiation of the call for nominations and then the selection and election of faculty members and students to serve on the President’s Advisory Committee. We envision having the advisory committee established in October and the call for applications to the position posted in late fall.
