Teaching Development Program & New Faculty Teaching Orientation 2022
The Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) offers professional development programs and events for those who are new to teaching, new to UBC, faculty members who have transitioned to a new appointment and sessional faculty members.
The Teaching Development Program for New Faculty (UBCV & UBCO) is a 10-month program from August 2022 to April 2023, that helps instructors build a foundation for their teaching careers by providing a support network as well as professional development opportunities focused on teaching practices. The CTLT also welcomes new faculty members during a one-day New Faculty Teaching Orientation (UBCV) on August 16, 2022. This serves as a space for new faculty to network and become more effective educators and strengths efforts to forge significant transformative learning experiences for students.
