UBC Faculty, Faculty Emeriti, among 2022 Order of Canada appointees

On December 29, 2022, the Governor General announced 99 appointments to the Order of Canada, which includes four UBC faculty and faculty emeriti. We congratulate our colleagues for their well-deserved recognition:

Officers of the Order of Canada (O.C.)

  • Dr. Allen Eaves, O.C., O.B.C. (Professor Emeritus of Hematology)
  • Dr. Paula Gordon, O.C., O.B.C. (Clinical Professor in Radiology)
  • Dr. David Ley, O.C. (Professor Emeritus of Geography)

Members of the Order of Canada (C.M.)

  • Dr. Pitman Potter, C.M. (Professor Emeritus at the Allard School of Law)
