From June 1-7, 2019, UBC Vancouver will host Congress 2019 — Canada’s largest academic gathering.
VOLUNTEERS WANTED
With over 900 volunteer positions available, the university invites faculty, staff and students to support in showcasing the beauty and hospitality of UBC.
Congress 2019 volunteers will play a vital role in the success of this academic event, which will bring more than 70 academic associations and approximately 10,000 attendees to UBC’s beautiful Vancouver campus. Volunteers will have the opportunity to network with renowned academics and participate in the behind-the-scenes arrangements of Canada’s largest gathering of scholars. In addition, Volunteers will also gain access to more than 60 world-class academic events including public keynotes, the Big Thinking series and UBC programming.
