Academic committees

Getting involved in a committee is a great way to connect with others in the UBC community, have your voice heard in important university affairs, and develop your career.

UBC has a number of committees that bring together diverse members of the university community in a collaborative process to advance a wide variety of initiatives and programs.

On this page, explore committees led by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic, and see below for examples of broader, university-wide committees. In addition, each Faculty has committees that assist with their departments’ decision-making, programs and initiatives.

If you're interested in joining a committee, contact your department head or dean to find out what opportunities may be available.
