Deadline extended to May 15 for Senior Advisor to the Provosts on Academic Freedom applications

On April 17, we embarked on a search for a new Senior Advisor to the Provosts on Academic Freedom. The deadline for this posting has been extended to May 15 at noon.

The focus of this important role is to support and protect UBC’s commitment to academic freedom and freedom of expression, working proactively with the university community to ensure these freedoms are understood, safeguarded and promoted.

We are looking for a tenured, accomplished UBC faculty member, to be seconded to the role for a two-year term. Full details of the position and how to apply can be found here.
