As we approach the middle of winter term 2, many faculty will be considering additional ways to check in on the learning and wellbeing of their students.
We are writing to provide an update to the UBC Vancouver community regarding the use of remote proctoring software at UBC, including Proctorio.
Following an external review of the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies in January 2020, a response has been received from the Interim Director of the Institute and the Board of Trustees. This response has gone to the Research Committee of the Senate and it will be on the Senate agenda in January 2021.
