October 8, 2021

About the OER fund

The Open Educational Resources (OER) Fund supports open education at UBC Vancouver through two grant streams:

UBCV faculty are invited to submit proposals for an OER Implementation Grant, which funds up to $25,000 for those who wish to incorporate open educational resources as the primary materials in their UBCV credit courses. The deadline for proposals is Thursday, November 25, 2021, at 3:00 p.m.

UBCV students, faculty and staff are encouraged to apply for an OER Rapid Innovation Grant, which provides up to $2,000 for innovative activities that increase open educational resource development, awareness and capacity building. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the year’s funds are exhausted.
