UBC Joins AWS Academy to Equip Learners with In-demand Cloud Computing Skills
The University of British Columbia and UBC Extended Learning are pleased to announce participation in AWS Academy, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) program that provides higher education institutions with a ready-to-teach cloud computing curriculum.

Invitation to join the Teaching Development Program for new faculty
Faculty who are either new to UBC and/or new to teaching, are now invited to register for a Teaching Development Program (TDP). Applications for the 2019/2020 program will be reviewed starting May 1, but registrations will continue to be accepted until August 1.
CTLT 2018 Winter Institute

Call for proposals for small Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund (TLEF) innovation projects
The Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic invites faculty, staff and students to submit proposals for small TLEF innovation projects. The deadline for proposals for both new TLEF applicants and for applicants with existing multi-year TLEF projects is 3:00pm on November 15.

Now in its tenth year, Celebrate Learning Week (https://celebratelearning.ubc.ca/) is an annual week-long showcase of teaching and learning opportunities at UBC Vancouver. The theme of this year’s showcase is transformative learning, a core area of strategic focus at UBC.
2018 Teaching Practices Survey
From February 27 to March 21, UBC will be running the 2018 Teaching Practices Survey. This is an opportunity for UBC faculty and others with teaching responsibility to share their teaching practices and provide confidential feedback about UBC’s teaching climate.
