Appointment Date
The UBC Faculty of Medicine has announced the appointment of Dr. Alex Scott as Head, Department of Physical Therapy, effective November 28, 2022 to June 30, 2028.
Dr. Scott is a Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, which he first joined in 2010. He also serves as a University Senator, and previously served as the President of the Physiotherapy Association of BC. In this role, Dr. Scott will provide leadership to the department as it expands educational opportunities for the next generation of physical therapists in the distributed model, and continues to make significant research advancements in the field of rehabilitation science.
